日本時間、3月28日朝に北米地域の王者を決めるVCT Stage1 NA Playoffs Finalが行われた。UpperからOpTic gaming、LowerからはThe GUARDが上がり、この2チームでの対戦となった。OPTC vs TGRDの対戦はUpper Bracket Finalにて一度対戦、Bo3で行われ、2-0でOpTic gamingが勝利している。再戦となるこのマッチアップ、下馬評ではOpTic gamingが勝利するとされていた（OpTic gamingはプレイオフで無敗）。
1st MapアセントはOpTic Gamingのピックマップ、その理由に違わず、ディフェンダーサイドにて完全にThe GUARDを制圧して1st MAPを勝利した。
2nd MapアイスボックスはThe GUARDのピック。The GUARDのアイスボックスのBサイドは特に完成度が高く、攻めも守りも素晴らしい。OMENを使ったエリア取りに注目である。（のちに絶対見てほしいラウンドはハイライトを作りたい。）やはり、得意マップということもあり、The GUARDが勝利した。
3rd MapブリーズはThe GUARDの圧勝、10-2で折り返し、そのままの勢いで13-2でThe GUARDが取得した。
4th MapスプリットはOpTic gamingのネオンを入れた構成でも知られている。特に攻めではネオンのスタンを含めたセットを使って多くのエリアを取得してラウンドを取っていく。さすがに何度も見せているということもあり、The GUARDも食いつくものの、最終的に13-7でOpTic gamingが取得し、2-2のマップカウントとなった。
VALORANTというTier 1タイトルの北米王者決定戦の名に恥じない素晴らしい戦い。最終マップヘイブンでも、OpTic gamingはネオンを採用、スキルを使った早い裏取り、そしてエントリーの際のスタン併せなど、素晴らしいプレイが見られた。一度、1-5でOpTic gamingが本数を広げるものの、少し縮め最終的には4-8で折り返した。最後まで大接戦を繰り返し、初めにマッチポイントに手を伸ばしたのはThe GUARD。OpTic gamingも負けじと11本目まで伸ばす。OverTimeになるかのラウンド、Cサイトを攻めたThe GUARDだが、OpTicに返され、Sayaplayer VS 3の状況となり、なんとSayaplayerがその状況を制し、優勝を決めた。
こうして新たな北米王者が誕生した。今回、大接戦を繰り広げた2チームはMastersに進出する。そこでも注目な2チームである。
