残された希望はオープン予選#2(日本で言うweek2の立ち位置)、初戦は難なく勝ち進み次戦、因縁の相手 Akrewと対戦することとなった。 Akrewとはオープン予選#1でも対戦しており、その時は勝利を収めている。Akrewからすると負けられないリベンジマッチとなった、そして結果はAkrewの勝利、SentinelsをLowerへと叩き落とすことになった。
正真正銘、退路を断たれたSentinels、メインイベントへ進出するためにはここからあと5回勝つ必要があった。Sentinelsはそれを成し遂げた。LowerではDarkZero Esports、SoaRと対戦し勝利を収めた。LowerFinalではメインイベント参加権をかけ、これまたAkrewと対戦することとなった。1stマップヘイブンでは13-1、2ndマップアイスボックスでは13-9で勝利を収め、メインイベントへ進出を決めた。
一度負けた相手に対する綺麗なリベンジ、メインイベントに進んだ彼らがどのような姿を見せるのか期待が集まる。
