開催期間
Mastersはグループステージとダブルエリミネーション方式で行われるプレイオフに分かれている。（厳密にはプレイオフではなくダブルエリミネーションブラケットという名称）
グループステージとプレイオフのファイナルまでの試合は4月10日から4月18日までの間に行われ、Upper Final、Lower Final、Grand Finalが4月22日から4月24日にて行われる。
同じグループの2戦か、各グループの1戦ずつのどちらを1日に詰めて行うかはまだ未定だが、どちらにせよZETA Divisionの初戦は4月10日か11日深夜に行われることが考えられる。
グループステージについて
Mastersには各地域の代表、全12チームが参加する。その中で、グループステージから参加するチームは全8チーム、残りの4チームはプレイオフから参加することになる。日本から参加するZETA Divisionはグループステージから参加することになる。
グループステージはさらに2グループに分けられ、そこでダブルエリミネーション方式でプレイオフへの参加権を争う。各グループからFinalへ参加できるのは2チームのみ、グループステージで敗退するのは計4チームである。グループステージはすべてBo3で行われる。
プレイオフ（ダブルエリミネーションブラケット）について
プレイオフから参加するのはNA,EMEA,APAC,LATAM vs BR Winnerの4チームである。具体的にはThe GUARD（NA 1位）、G2 Esports（EMEA繰り上げ1位）、Paper Rex（APAC 1位）、未確定（LATAM vs BR 勝った地域の1位）の4チーム。そこにグループステージから上がってきた2チームずつが混ざり、全8チームで行われる。Lower Final,Grand FinalのみBo5にて実施される。
そして、この戦いを生き残ったチームが世界王者となる。
見所と補足
グループステージには各地域からEMEA 2チーム、NA,APAC,LATAM,Brazil,Japan,Koreaからぞれぞれ1チームずつが参加する。各グループには必ずEMEAが含まれるため、EMEA地域との対戦の可能性が少し高いと言えるだろう。
Mastersは日本時間深夜に行われる予定である。全日程見通したい人は予定を開けておくことをお勧めする。
