この最低年俸がどの地域に適応されるかは判明していませんが、南北リーグには適応されるとしている。金額は違えど日本チームにおいても最低年俸の制定が想定される。
残りの15万ドルはインゲームコンテンツなどの収益や各チームの財源から確保することとなる。
日本では給与についてはかなり隠されているが、北米のTier1組織の一部は特定の選手に月給として100万円から200万円を支払っているとされ、一部選手は自身の配信で言及を行っている。少なくとも北米地域にはこの給与を支払う能力があるチームが存在する。
